marymount's fashion show this year was amazing! not only were we lucky enough to have designer cynthia rowley, but season 4 project runway winner christian siriano came to the event as well! both were incredibly nice. all of the dresses featured at the fashion show [done by marymount students] were beautiful, but in this post i'm going to just focus on outfits people wore to the event!

it's getting warmer!

it's the last week of classes & everyone is ready for summer!

RACHEL: looking adorable in her vintage wear. high waisted long skirt, tank top, retro sunglasses, peep toe shoes, & hair pulled back. don't you want to just go on a picnic with her?!

KADIE: so ready for summer in her lilly pulitzer apparel & dark tan! LOVE IT!



ERICA & CARA: these two girls are always fun together. ericka just got this top from urban outfitters & she couldn't decide which color she wanted - i think this one looks great on her! she has new jet black hair too which goes great with her tan. very exotic!



SOO: gotta love his Gucci shoes! he wins the shoe awards.

blog.mode: addressing fashion

last week when i was in new york i was able to stop by the metropolitan museum of art and see the exhibit "blog mode: addressing fashion". it was wonderful! i was able to take some pictures so i will share with you all.








also, if you're in new york try to stop by FIT to see the two exhibits being featured there. one is "madame gres: sphinx of fashion" & the other is the "sole desire: the shoes of christian louboutin!" unfortunately, no photography is allowed inside. :[

cara rogers.

cara is always changing her hair color. she loves to spice it up. this year i've seen her try red hair & blonde hair... but now she's back to her original hair color BROWN! i think it looks great... there's something very warm & comforting about a brunette. scarves are so in right now - & here cara adds a scarf into her outfit for some bright color. one thing i must mention! cara always get sweet hookups from fashion week because her brother works for IMG. if you look closely on the print of her havianas flipflops, you will see "Mercedes Benz Fashion Week". & the yellow t-shirt was also in the fashion week goodie bag this year.
